Letters To The Editor, Rangely

Thanks for Rowdy Worm assistance

Dear Editor:
Over the past weekend of April 16, Rangely High School held an after-prom party called Rowdy Worm. Throughout the night, from midnight to five in the morning, students were running around playing games.

At five o’clock, an auction was held until six o’clock. Many students received a variety of cool gifts. It was a huge success. We had lots of help from businesses and parents.
We would like to thank the following businesses for their contributions: Seitz Eye Care, Moon Lake Electric, Duco Inc, Sizemore Oil Field Serv., Blue Mountain Accounting, Big ‘D’ Pumping, Vernal Cinemas, Kevin Amack Insurance, Rocky Mountain Well Service, Colorado CPA, Sweetbriar, Urie Rock Co, Ducey’s Electric, Rio Blanco Schools, Federal Credit Union, Cook Chevrolet, George T. Weldon, W.C. “Bud” Striegel, Bank of the San Juans, Prime Well Fishing, Epsilon Chi Chapter, Love Inc, Deserado Mine/ Blue Mountain, Chevron, Town of Rangely, Mountain West Insurance, Rangely Recreation Center, Rangely High School Stuco, Christie’s Liquor, The Salon, Dr. Myers’s Dental, Argali Exploration Co, Rangely Liquor Store, Rangely Trash, Pinyon Tree Liquors, Wildlife Expressions, Rangely District Hospital and Raptor Investments.
We would also like to thank the businesses that gave donations: Blue Mountain Inn, WW Peppers, Main Street Bagels, Kum & Go, Nichols Store, Giovanni’s, Loaf N Jug, White River Market, Cedar Ridges Golf, Family Dollar, Rangely Conoco, Coca Cola and Barnes & Noble.
Thank you to the following for contributing as well: Kelly and Brenda Brown, Matt Grenfeld, Rick and Ann Brady and Ryan and Cori Elam. We would like to send out a big thank you to all of the parents and volunteers who helped throughout the night. Without all of these people, this event would not have been possible.
