Grand opening Friday for new business

MEEKER I A new business, Country Raised, will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting at noon Friday at 275 6th St., in downtown Meeker. Country Raised offers farmhouse-style décor, classic toys, Colorado chocolates and more, according to owner Makala Barton.
Sponsored by the Meeker Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon cutting will feature snacks prepared by Hollidays and free gifts. Visitors should register to win one of several gift cards, and a free gift will go to the first 10 customers.
