Dear Editor:

We read with interest your “50 years ago” in last week’s paper.

We lived in Meeker for 35 years, and knew all of the boys listed, 16 of which played in the Meeker High School Band!

In 1965 we sent a picture of the Meeker High School Band performing the Bronco Football game at Mile High Stadium for the 1965 game. They were half time entertainment. Sixteen boys listed in your football listing…
