Letter: Thanks to ExxonMobil for school donation

Thank you ExxonMobil, your people, your shareholders and your hardworking suppliers for your Fourth of July gifts to our Meeker schools. Since the days of our pioneers, our schools have been the bedrock of this valley. Education of our youth lifts us all up. A new Meeker school with a connection to the Colorado School of Mines will open new doors and new minds.
I want to turn back the clock and go to elementary school again.
Our Fourth of July is about hopes, promises and the American dream. All aspirations begin with a solid education. Our children have a reason to smile and dance during our parade. On this date, their generation and our lives just got better. Let’s give ExxonMobil a Fourth of July thumb’s up!
