Letter: Strates appreciate community support during health crises

Dear Editor:
Words cannot express our appreciation for this community. With Chris’s recent health crises our emergency response members have literally been life savers. They do their jobs so expertly and with such compassion and caring. Our community is so blessed to have the staff at Pioneers Hospital. We have felt the power of all the prayers that have been lifted up on our behalf and appreciate each and every one of them. After being gone six weeks, we came home to a freshly cleaned house, a refrigerator stocked with food and home cooked meals, and a mowed lawn. We are so glad to be home in this loving community.
Now that we are home we are receiving professional, compassionate care from home health and will be able to utilize the palliative care services of Hope West. We are so fortunate to have such caring people provide these services in Meeker.
