RANGELY I The host Lady Panthers beat Meeker in three games Saturday in the eighth-graders’ A game, while the Lady Panthers’ B team won in two games.
“They are playing really well,” coach Courtney Kent said of the eighth-grade teams, which opened the season with wins at Craig. “They are a very talented group of girls. They work hard and play well together.”
Meeker coach Jamie Rogers likes the way her team is playing, too.
“The girls are working really hard and learning some new and difficult rotations,” Rogers said. “I am anxious to see their play progress as they get more comfortable and confident with the rotations.”
Rangely’s seventh-grade A team lost to Craig and Meeker in three games, while the Rangely seventh-grade B team won its matches against Craig and Meeker in two games.
