MEEKER | Meeker High School alumnus Elijah T. Newman has been named to the Honor Roll at Oregon State University for spring 2019. Newman is a freshman studying biohealth sciences.

Congratulations Eli!!! OSU is my Alma Matre, graduated from there in 1976, and from Meeker High School in 1970. My sister Cindy Fisher (Longley) who also grew up in Meeker works at one of the Science Labs at OSU. Look her up and say hi. She would always love to connect with another Meekerite!!
Eli is an undergraduate in the Department of Microbiology which has two degree programs; Microbiology and Bioheath Sciences. We are very proud of Eli and his accomplishments this past year. Go Beavs!
