Kolbi and Kaden Franklin participated in the Junior National Hereford Expo in Denver, Colorado during the second week of July. There were kids from every state and Canada exhibiting Hereford cattle and competing in several other contests. Kolbi showed a heifer which made it to the division championship, a steer that was fifth in class and was voting delegate for the state of Colorado. She attended several events to get to know the candidates running for the JNHE Board. Kaden showed a steer which won a class and made it to the champion drive, a heifer which made it the the division championship and participated in the judging competition. There were close to 800 exhibitors and nearly 2,000 head of cattle.
