Five years ago the Meeker Chamber of Commerce ordered 25 decorative banners in four different designs that were installed on light poles downtown. Those banners have since gone missing. Chamber Director Stephanie Kobald said they’ve searched every possible location where the banners might have been set aside in storage to no avail. The current thought is that the banners may have been taken down and kept as souvenirs. Anyone who knows where the old banners may have disappeared to, please contact the Chamber at 970-878-5510.
