BMS Cowboy football splits with Craig

MEEKER | In middle school football Saturday, the Cowboys’ B team beat Craig 20-14, while the A team lost 34-12.
“It was a much closer game, it just got away from us a little at the end,” coach Jason Browning said of the A-team game. “Craig had a really good team, and I thought our kids gave a great effort. We just made a few too many mistakes to win.”
Meeker will play at home for the first time this season Saturday against Steamboat Springs. The B-team game will start at 9 a.m.
