MEEKER | Last week the lady Cowboys walked away with two more wins. Friday the Cowboys traveled to Caprock where they won in three games. Following CapRock, the Cowboys hosted the Hotchkiss Bulldogs where they again won in three games. This month the girls honor breast cancer awareness by wearing pink.
Key players from these matches include Emma Luce, Callie Morlan and Julia Dinwiddie.
The Cowboys have their eyes set on homecoming week with two home games. The Cowboys take on the Aspen Skiers Thursday night at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Saturday, the Cowboys play the Plateau Valley Cowboys at 1, 2, and 3 p.m. The Cowboys are hopeful to take more wins for the next few weeks. This time is important for the Cowboys as the No. 1 seat in the district will host the league tournament on Nov. 1-2. Come out and cheer on your Meeker Cowboys.
