NOTE—We understand that the Trimmer and Allsebrook bills were for sheep killed in the Limekiln hill raid, and we hear that the matter will now go into the courts, as Messrs. Allsebrook and Trimmer intend suing the county.

G.S. Allsebrook has sold his entire flock of sheep to Messrs. Errickson & Hamman, who will move the flock out of the county as fast as possible Sheridan & Mootz have disposed of their holdings, which will also be taken out of the country.

Meridian Oil moved one more step closer to getting their plan of drilling 26 natural gas wells in Powell Park off the ground, but not without having to address several key issues concerning eagles, landowners and the historical significance of the Meeker Massacre site.

Meeker Police Lt. Phil Stubblefield got an earful from Rich Merriam at this year’s Meeker Police Department’s Bugling and Camouflage Contest. The first grader won the overall camouflage contest and first place in his grade. Rich also took home a first place plaque in the bugling competition.

Congratulations to the Rangely football team and their coaches for the win over Glenwood Springs and best of luck this week against the Cowboys from Meeker. A win Friday night would put the Panthers into a tie for first place in the Northwest League.

Cooperation by three Rangely merchants in a Sidewalk Sale this Saturday is a great step in the right direction toward retail sales promotion here.
