MEEKER | ERBM Recreation and Park District hosted the NW Colorado Developmental League third-sixth grade girls’ recreation and competitive games on Saturday, Oct. 19 at the MHS and MES gyms. Teams from Rifle, New Castle, Debeque, Silt and Grand Valley made the trip to Meeker.
The 3rd/4th Meeker Black team posted two victories on Saturday, with wins against Meeker Gold and Silt 2. 3rd/4th Meeker Gold team lost to Meeker Black and New Castle.
The 5th/6th Meeker competitive league team dominated Rifle 1 with a final score of 23-0.
The 5th/6th grade recreation league Meeker Gold team won against Meeker Black with a score of 12-10. Meeker Black defeated Rifle 3 later in the day with a score of 28-26.
