– The Indians are on their annual game slaughtering raid in the western end of the county at the present time. Each year they encroach a little bit farther on the white man’s domain. They are now operating in the Coyote basin region. Of course the game wardens don’t bother them and the Utes can slaughter deer for the hides as long as there are any in sight.
