Kolbi Franklin participated in the Colorado Make It With Wool contest held in Brighton, Colorado. She was first place in the senior division with her hand tailored, 100% Pendleton coat. She is eligible to compete at the national MIWW contest in January 2020, held in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kolbi also received the Allison Turvey Smile Award in which she was voted on by others at the contest. This award was created in honor of Allison Turvey, whose life was tragically taken in a car accident. Turvey was a previous contestant at the MIWW contest.
