Letter: ERBM Punt, Pass and Kick was a success

I would like to thank all the participants, volunteers and spectators of the 2009 Punt, Pass and Kick event on Sept. 28. We had 34 participants ranging from ages 4-15. Congratulations to the first-place finisher in each age division who will have a chance to compete in the sectional competition in Grand Junction on Oct. 25. Good luck!
These Meeker High School football players volunteered their time to help with the event: Aaron Pena, Charlie Scherbarth, Scott Smith, Ever Olivas, Cole Steiner, Ryan Wix, Collin Cochran, Reno Roybal, Joey Scherbarth and Cesar Lopez. A big thanks to Doug Pfau, Brian Merrifield and Kim Asselin, without them, the day would not have been a success.
