Meeker Locals: April 9 edition

MEEKER — Several months ago we ran a story about first grade teacher Becky Hughes and the book she and her class put together as a thank you gift for Avis Loshbaugh who gives a beautifully wrapped book to the class each month as “the book fairy.” The book written by Hughes and her students is now available for sale, according to a press release from Dorrance Publishing. Entitled “The Book Fairy,” it’s a beautifully illustrated book published by Dorrance Publishing. Way to go, Becky and class! And kudos to Avis for providing the inspiration for a new bit of children’s literature!
