Local election candidates:

RBC I Voters in Meeker and Rangely will vote April 6 for candidates running for open seats on the local town boards.
Here’s a list of the candidates:

• The last day to file an Affidavit of Intent as a write-in candidate is March 16.
The Rangely election will be by mail-in ballot, said Town Clerk Chris Brasfield. In Meeker, it will be a polling-place election held at the Fairfield Center.
“Although, we are now required to honor the electors on the permanent mail-in voter list and will be mailing approximately 446 ballots,” said Town Clerk Lisa Cook.
