MEEKER I The last few weeks have seen the temperatures plummet and the cold could invoke some complaining. After all, the cars are cold, the roads are slick, and the kids have to walk from the car to the school in sub-zero temperatures.

MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboys finished their big week of basketball Saturday evening, having played four games in five days and winning three of them. They finished second in the WREA Cowboy Shootout and had Jeremy Musgrave and Raul Lopez named to the All-Tournament team.

RANGELY I The Rangely girls’ basketball team will play Snake River tonight in Baggs, Wyo. The last time the two teams met resulted in a very close 32-35 loss by Rangely, so the Panthers are working toward a better outcome this time.
