Hunting licenses still available for upcoming hunts

RBC I Colorado Parks and Wildlife reminds hunters that there are still thousands of leftover big-game and turkey hunting licenses available, giving hunters plenty of opportunity to harvest a variety of species and to put fresh, healthy wild game meat on the table. Over-the-counter elk licenses are also now available.

Meeker TCAP student scores reveal ups, downs

MEEKER I The Meeker School District’s 2014 Transitional Colorado Assessment Program (TCAP) results were released by the Colorado Department of Education last month. Students around the district were tested in reading, writing and math and scored by the state as either advanced, proficient, partially proficient or unsatisfactory.
