In an impressive impersonation of “The King,” Ducey’s Electric owner Alan Ducey proved that Elvis had not left the building that formerly housed the Rangely Carquest, which went out of business in August.

Museum grant…

Encana has given grant money to the Rangely Museum for the second time to spruce up its 1913 schoolhouse. While an earlier grant two years ago purchased new blinds for the schoolhouse, the newest $9,000 donation has been used to fix windows, remodel some siding and paint the structure.

WREA golf tournament…

White River Electric hosted its 30th annual golf tournament and fundraiser Friday, June 13 and had 75 players participate. The event was co-sponsored by Mountain Valley Bank and $3,000 was raised as a result of the event.
