MEEKER | To help with the town’s snow removal efforts, please remove everything from the street, such as trailers parked along the curb or in cul-de-sacs, vehicles that are not used all of the time and basketball hoops.
Smoke seen south of Rangely
RANGELY I Smoke visible to the south of Rangely this week was the result of a plan by the Northwest Colorado Fire Management Unit to burn approximately 180 piles of pinyon/juniper slash accumulated during a thinning project.
Holiday concert…
The Meeker Elementary School Christmas concert was held last week. Barone Middle School will perform tonight at 7 p.m., in the MHS auditorium.

Rangely Cub Scout Packs 189/191 held a pack meeting and did a service project called “Holiday Mail for Heroes” affiliated with the Red Cross, where scouts and families make cards for our service men and women everywhere to show gratitude for their service.
