RANGELY | The United States Geological Survey reported a 3.0 magnitude earthquake 4 km north-northeast of Rangely Tuesday. There have been 11 earthquakes in the west side of Rio Blanco County this year, the largest a 3.8 in April.

RANGELY | The Colorado Bureau Of Investigation has positively identified the body of Peter Ruffner, a 66-year-old male resident of Rangely, Colo.
