It is said that high humidity and strong sunlight combine for a bright rainbow and that a rare double rainbow is caused by very high humidity and even stronger sunlight. Such was the case recently when this brightly colored double rainbow made an appearance in the sky over Rangely.

Approximately 60 Rangely third-grade students received free Spanish-English dictionaries from Rangely resident René Harden recently.
