MEEKER | Twelve Cowboys competed during the Region 5 middle school tournament, all trying to wrestle their way to Colorado middle school state tournament. Nearly 200 boys were in Montrose, Colo., competing for seven spots in each weight, with no school class size distinction. Only in high school does school size become a factor.
