MEEKER I The Barone Middle School wrestling team won the annual Craig Invitational dual tournament, after winning all five of their duals.
Meeker started the day by defeating Rifle 43-33 in a closely contested dual. Key wins were picked up by Austin Purcell and team captain Jake Phelan.
“It was really nice to come out strong against a very tough Rifle team,” said head coach Lee Overton.
Meeker followed up the Rifle victory with a 52-39 win over West Grand and continued their winning ways, by defeating Soroco 67-21.
