Shooting range schedule
MEEKER | The Meeker Sportsman’s Club Range will be closed Aug. 26 through Sept. 25 and Oct. 13 through Nov. 30 except for sight-in days. Sight-in days will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Oct. 13-14, Oct. 20-21, Nov. 3-4 and Nov. 15.
Pilot presents slideshow Aug. 25
MEEKER | Local pilot Dave Cole and his wife, Martha, will host a slide show presentation of photographs taken during their recent trips to Central America and Mexico with LightHawk. The presentation will be held at the Meeker United Methodist Church from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25.
Watt wins championship
The field of players in the annual Meeker Men’s Club tournament was not very deep but the competition for the title and a year of bragging rights as the men’s club champ was stiff.
Rec. center summer swim team ends season
MEEKER | The ERBM Recreation and Park District sponsored the Meeker Recreation Center (MRC) Summer swim team, which started June 6.
Silent auction, dinner Sept. 8
RBC I Horizons Specialized Services will host a silent auction and spaghetti dinner Thursday, Sept. 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Fairfield Center in Meeker.
