HOME OF: Ruby Hart
MEEKER | Ruby Hart moved to Meeker in 1931 with her parents Lute and Ella Armstrong. Ruby’s husband Freeman Hart died in 1967. Ruby has “always been a cook.” She cooked at Pioneers Medical Center, Meeker Middle School, where the school district administration building is now, and Barone Middle School.
Yearbook staff shows movies for fundraiser
MEEKER I As a fundraiser, Meeker High School’s yearbook staff will show two movies on Sunday, April 25 at the high school. At 1:30 p.m., “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel” (PG) will be shown. At 3:30 p.m., “Avatar” (PG-13) will be shown, but not in 3-D.
