Community gardeners set three meetings
RANGELY I The community gardening group is moving forward with more meetings during the month of March. So far, there are 10 gardeners in the group and five acres of land have been donated close to town with water.

Fresh start for Cochran
RBC I Ran Cochran has been the local funeral home director serving Rio Blanco County for the past dozen years. And it has given him a unique perspective on the people and communities he has served. Cochran Memorial Chapels had offices in Meeker and Rangely.

He may be young, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know his stuff. Ryan Huitt, who operates Wildlife Expressions, is one of Rangely’s newest business owners. He will turn 21 in April.
December reports down 28.6 percent
RBC | During December 2009, the Rio Blanco County Communications Center logged 588 incidents, down from December 2008 totals of 823, which is a 28.6 percent decrease in activity.
