The Meeker Herald — 100 years ago – The town board of registration met Tuesday and enrolled more than 500 voters. The complete registration will foot up nearly 550.

RBC ready to begin CR 5 work

RBC I County commissioners awarded a $5.6 million bid for construction project at two locations on RBC Road 5 and opened bids for an airport runway project, where the lowest bid was more than $8.7 million.

RBC I Recent windy, dry conditions have already prompted Red Flag Warnings for northwest Colorado. Green-up, which helps to slow fires spread, has not yet occurred in most areas and dead grass and brush is ready to burn.

More than 20 people from Meeker and Rangely participated in discussions regarding sustainable health care solutions, brought to Rio Blanco County by the Colorado Trust in cooperation with Club 20 Education and Research Foundation and Colorado Mesa University.
