County files appeal of use tax decision
RBC I It’s not over. Not yet anyway. Rio Blanco County, on Friday, filed a petition with the Colorado Supreme Court, asking it to reconsider its decision in the use tax case.
Valuation in county tops $1 billion
RBC I While the economy may be down, the county’s assessed value is up. In fact, it reached a record high. “I believe this is the first time it’s ever been over a billion,” said Renae Neilson, Rio Blanco County assessor.

Williams subsidiary get OK for gas pipeline
