MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboys picked up two crucial league victories over the weekend, stopping the Hayden Tigers 64-54, and then cruising past the Vail Christian Saints on Saturday 67-40.
Meeker girls earn split
MEEKER I After a Northwest League loss to the Hayden Tigers on their home court last Friday, the Lady Cowboys basketball team traveled to Vail and defeated Vail Christian last Saturday.

MEEKER I The second day back from Christmas vacation, the Meeker girls’ basketball team defeated the 3A Roaring Fork Rams at home before traveling to Walden for its first league game of the season, which the Lady Cowboys lost.

MEEKER I The Meeker boys’ basketball team continued its winning ways after the Christmas break by picking up two more wins, upping its season record to a perfect 10-0.

MEEKER I The Meeker Cowboys traveled to Granby last weekend to participate in the Mountain Parks Electric High Country Invitational tournament. Meeker won all three games it played in the tournament to claim the champion trophy, beating Love Christian, West Grand and Middle Park.

MEEKER I After a loss at home to Olathe, the Meeker girls’ basketball team won three games and the title last weekend in Granby. The Lady Cowboys lost to Olathe on Dec. 15, following the Cowboy Shootout.
