MEEKER | The Colorado Arrow Busters competed on March 23, 2024, in Grand Junction at the Colorado S3DA State Indoor. Ten members from Meeker competed and all placed in the top six of their classes.
The success of these archers led them to the 2024 S3DA Western Indoor National Championship in Salt Lake City on March 23-24. In the chart you’ll see the success of the Meeker Arrow Busters for both the state championship and then for nationals.
As a team Arrow Busters had many team wins. These include the whole team which represents the majority of the Western Slope. The Jr. Eagles took first scoring 1,358 (Hudson Hummel, Lee Kirkpatrick, Sawyer Hummel). The Eagle Team took second scoring 1,454 (Heath Bennet). The Youth Team (Auri Murray, Jemma Bair, Dawn Arnold, and Taylor Kirkpatrick) took first scoring 1,484. The Young Adult Team (Eli Bennett) took Gold with 1,497.
