MEEKER | The 2018 Cowboy Volleyball season was highly successful and only had four losses. “There are not very many coaches that get the chance to be part of season like that,” said head coach Greg Cravens. Awards handed out at the 2018 banquet included:
– Sydnie Main – Western Slope All-Conference Honorable Mention
– Lila Klinglesmith – Western Slope All-Conference
– Julia Dinwiddie – Western Slope All-Conference
– Krissie Luce – Western Slope All-Conference, CHSAA All State First Team, CCGS All-State, CHSCA All-State
– Kassie Luce – Western Slope All-Conference, CHSAA All State First Team, CCGS All-State, CHSCA All-State
The winning season also extended in JV and C teams, who did not lose a game since the first weekend of September. Cravens said, “The winning is a tribute to my assistant coaches. Coach Roxie Chintala and coach Kaleyne Turner did an incredible job this year. I have the right coaching staff when they teach the girls all the skills and I get to reap the benefits.”
