MEEKER | The Cowboys wrapped up Christmas break by hosting the Little Snake Rattlers Saturday, Jan. 4; losing 60-42 they are now 1-5 for the season.
“We didn’t shoot well,” said head coach Klark Kindler, “puts pressure on the rest of the game.”
Junior Spud White and seniors Elijah Deming and Cole Rogers led the team in scoring, all scoring in the double digits: White had 15, Deming 14, and Rogers 10.
Under the basket White and Deming also led the way in rebounds.
“We are still getting better,” commented Kindler, “and look forward to league play.”
On Friday Meeker will host West Grand for the first league game of the season. They will then travel to Kremmling on Saturday to take on North Park, the second league matchup of the year.
