MEEKER | Cowboy football continued its challenging schedule when Wiggins came to town last
Friday. Meeker has a stacked schedule packed full of powerhouse teams.
Meeker held tight and it was close going into the fourth quarter before Wiggins scored twice to put it away. Seniors Cade Blunt and Clay Crawford led the ground attack as through the air they were all but
shut down. “We played well at times, just needed to find a way to play all 48 minutes,” commented head coach Andy Coryell.
The brutal non-conference schedule continues this week against 2A Gunnison. The Cowboys will play at the Mountaineer Bowl on Friday at 6 p.m.
