ERBM to host baseball, softball clinic

MEEKER I The Meeker High School Softball and Baseball Clinic will occur on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Paintbrush Park Ball Fields for boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade and are free.

Coaches and high school team members will teach fundamentals of softball and baseball at these clinics. Participation will directly support the MHS softball and baseball programs.
Also, Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, & Run will take place on May 20 at 9 a.m. at the Paintbrush Park Ball Fields and is free to participating youth. This national initiative baseball competition gives boys and girls ages 7-14 (age as of July 17, 2016) a chance to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities.
There are four age divisions for both boys and girls. A MLB Pitch, Hit, & Run 2016 Official Registration Form must be completed by a parent/guardian 18 years or older before entering the competition. Forms are available at the Meeker Recreation Center and online at Those wanting to participate may register up until 8:45 a.m. on May 20.
