There will be a memorial service for David C. Brown on Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Meeker United Methodist Church at 11 a.m.

David Brown was my neighbor in California. He was a good man, and I cannot count how many times he dropped everything to help me out with some problem I was having. He was a mentor to my kids and their friends, and his legacy will be passed on by those who spent time with him. He will be sorely missed.
