White River Electric Association (WREA) celebrated the ribbon cutting for its two electric vehicle (EV) charging units on Monday, June 24. The Charge Point Level II and Level III DC Fast Charge units are located at Fifth and Market streets (Bank of the San Juans parking lot) and are open 24 hours a day. Customary charging rates apply. WREA would like to thank Tri-State G&T, Charge Ahead Colorado, the Meeker Chamber, the Town of Meeker and the Bank of the San Juans for all their support on this project. I’d be interested to know how much it’s been used since it was installed.
I wonder why WREA thinks that all the members should pay for these. Also wondering if whomever is using them is paying for the power.
