MEEKER | The Lady Cowboys softball team opened their season Saturday, Aug. 11 with a JV doubleheader against Fruita High School. Both games ended tied 10-10.
“A strong showing from returning players and new athletes alike,” said head coach Brianna Williams. Freshman Hailey Knowles pitched in her first high school game and it was “a solid pitching performance by junior Brynlee Williams and Knowles,” said Williams.
