Dear Editor:
One thing I have to seriously consider in this election for president is one who I hope will do something about prescription costs.
In January 2014, the Medicare Part D co-pay for my prescriptions was $529.86 for a three-month supply. I thought that was expensive but reasonable because I am a diabetic.
In 2015, I could not find a better Part D plan.
In January 2016, from the same Part D supplier, my co-pay cost for the prescriptions purchased in 2014 was $1,429 for a three-month supply.
My heart goes out to the 29 million Americans who are diabetic and the hundreds of thousands who can’t pay those high prices.
Medicines for diabetes, if you take them, can extend your life for years. Could unaffordable drug prices be ObamaCare population control?
President Obama said that when he gets his ObamaCare passed the senior citizens will actually see a 30- to 60-percent savings on their drug costs.
Obama does not know that increasing costs is not a savings?
