Dear Editor:
I am writing this letter in support of Emma Vaughn for Rio Blanco County Clerk and Recorder. I have known Emma for more than 20 years. I was Emma’s supervisor when she worked for the Division of Wildlife when she was in high school. She always showed herself to be a very hard worker, responsible, extremely courteous and very talented. She also showed herself to be a leader within the crew.
Now that she is running for clerk and recorder, I am in full support of her endeavors because I know what kind of responsible hard worker she is. Emma is presently working part time at two different jobs. One of them being in the clerk and recorder’s office. In preparation for being our future clerk and recorder she has attended classes and seminars to include the County Clerk Association meeting in Salida, the Motor Vehicle Traning (DRIVES) and election training at her own expense. She is a very intelligent young lady and will easily pick up all that is involved in the clerk and recorder position because of having worked there part time, plus the classes she as attended, and the energy and enthusiasm she will bring to the office.
Rio Blanco County will greatly benefit by having Emma as the county clerk and recorder. I encourage each of you to consider voting for Emma in the November election for Rio Blanco County Clerk and Recorder. You will not regret it.
