These are not messages left on the phone by just anyone. No one is trying to tell you anything that you are not already fully aware of. These three statements come from algorithms that go into play when one sets up a health or fitness app on a cell phone.
There is no need for quotation marks, as it seems that many of the messages and reports are generated by the latest apps themselves. Some of us must unwittingly hit buttons that start the whole annoying sequence of events. This rudimentary form of artificial intelligence ( think Siri or Google) is built into most smart phones, so cell phone owners can get constant reminders to stay healthy. The key word here is access.
One-sided conversations are being initiated daily by most everyone’s smart phone. Unexpected usually, sometimes appreciated, but always irritating.
All day and night the barrage of beeps from the various cell-phones throughout the house continues.
The very devices we have all come come to depend on ambush us frequently. What started as an occasional pinging now sounds like someone is playing ping-pong or pickle ball. Yikes.
