MEEKER | The Meeker Cowboys girls wrestling team made history last weekend by hosting its first-ever tournament at Meeker High School. The event featured six visiting teams, with Meeker as the seventh competitor.
Five wrestlers competed for the Cowboys on Saturday, all of whom earned placements. The team finished second overall with 59 points.
Hayden Garcia (155 pounds) and Ruth LeBlanc (170 pounds) led the way, each winning first place in their respective weight classes.…
