MEEKER | Meeker High School girls’ golf took three girls to regional competition: freshman Adi Knowles, junior Jayda May and junior Vivian Brown.
“We played at the Regional 3A Tournament at the Yampa Valley Golf Course located in Craig, Colorado,” said coach Amanda Back via email. “The girls had so much determination and grit!” Freshman Adi Knowles shot 123 and Jayda May shot 124.
“They did awesome for Knowles’ first ever Regionals and May’s second Regional tournament. Vivian Brown played in her third Regional tournament and we are so excited to announce she will playing next Tuesday and Wednesday in Aspen at the Aspen Golf Course in her third state championship,” Back said, adding, “Thank you to the whole community for the continued support.”
