Community News Roundup ~ May 21, 2026

It’s hard to believe we’re already at graduation season and Memorial Day weekend, but here we are!

The special graduation program for Meeker High School’s Class of 2026 will be distributed to attendees at graduation on Saturday (9 a.m., Starbuck Stadium) and inserted into next week’s paper.

If you’d like to help put flags on graves at Highland Cemetery, that also happens on Saturday morning. Gather at the cemetery between 8-8:30 a.m. The traditional wreath toss from the bridge at Town Park and the ceremony at the cemetery will be held on Monday at 10 a.m.

Enjoy the long weekend, if you get one, and as always, thank you for your continued support of independent community journalism.
