It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, brother, uncle and friend. Mark passed away unexpectedly at his home. He will be missed beyond words.

Mark was kind, funny and fiercely loyal to his family and friends, and will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.

He was just six months old when the family moved to Dinosaur (then Artesia) from Rock Port, Missouri. After living in Rangely and several other places, he came back to live in Dinosaur for the remainder of his life. It was there he met his wife Cindi, and Loretta, Cindi’s mother. He helped care for Loretta until she passed away.

Mark was passionate about rock music, and he was very artistic. He also loved creating things with wood, and working on old vehicles. Mark and Cindi enjoyed fishing, camping and growing vegetables. They loved animals, and always had several pets. A very important part of Mark’s life was spending time with his loyal dog, Jack.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, John and Gertie Dalrymple, mother-in-law Loretta and leaves behind his wife Cindi, his sister Jeanette (Snook) Justus, her husband Dave, a half-brother Jerry Dalrymple, and niece and nephew Julie Justus and Mike Justus.
We will forever miss his kindness and his wonderful sense of humor.

“Have a good one. Hope the part you took from me you will put in a place you will notice now and again.”

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
