Dear Editor: The price of a gallon of gasoline today is more than $1 less than it was a year or so ago. The state gas tax hasn’t been increased for more than 20 years.

County’s Senior Livestock Judging Team ends season with top finishes
RBC I The Rio Blanco County 4-H Livestock judging team completed the 2015 season at the Tri River Area Contest in Montrose on Friday and judged in the 69th annual Gunnison County Livestock Judging Contest on Saturday—possibly the longest-running 4-H contest of its kind in the U.S.

RANGELY I On Wednesday, the Rangely High School Panthers track team took off with 13 athletes and three managers for the state track meet in Lakewood. During the meet, several members earned finishes that placed at the meet.
