Child screen event set for Rangely, Meeker

RBC — Child Find is coming. Horizons Specialized Services, in conjunction with Rio Blanco BOCES, the Department of Social Services, County Health, Aspen Dental Clinic and Columbine Medical Clinic are all getting together to screen our young children ages 6 months to 5 years in Rangely and Meeker.

Children’s Health Fair coming in March

RBC —- The Annual Children’s Health Fair is coming. It will be held March 24-25 in Rangely and March 31 and April 1 in Meeker. Each year there are questions from parents and we would like to take the opportunity to answer some of the most frequently asked ones.

Meeker defeats Plateau Valley Cowboys to advance to semis

MEEKER — A 59-44 win over the Plateau Valley Cowboys in the quarterfinal round of the district tournament advances the Meeker Cowboys to the semifinals this Friday in Paonia. Meeker will play the No. 1 seeded and defending state champion Grand Valley Cardinals.
