RANGELY | This weekend Rangely middle school boys’ basketball opened up at a seventh grade A team tournament in West Grand. They played West Grand first, losing 20-25. Marsten Wagner led scoring with 10 points, followed by Fisher Winder, Andrew Dorris, Justin Cudo and Byron Mackay each adding two points each. Timothy Scoggins led in rebounds with nine. In the second game they played East Grand and lost 18-35. Wagner led scoring again with eight points, followed by Anthony Dorris with six and Scoggins and Mackay both contributing two points each. Wagner also led the way with 10 rebounds followed by Timothy Scoggins with eight. The team travels to Steamboat this Saturday, Oct. 22.
